"Shame on me I guess for making a mistake. On Wednesday at 5:30est P. M. I placed an order for these filters for the new home my spouse and I just purchased using the gaurdiantechnologies. com website. I realized when looking at the confirmation email that because of using google pay, it was being delivered to a house that was several years and many miles ago (don't know why that address is even listed as an option). Oops. Well at 7:30 P. M. (est) I filled out the "submit a request" form on the contact us page which included my name, email, and order number to cancel this order. At 8:21 AM the next morning I received a response via email stating they would be happy to cancel the order but would need my name, (wrongful) shipping address, email and phone number. I responded at 8:23 AM with the requested information. At 8:37AM I recieved an email stating that there had been a shipping label made at fedex but that fedex had not recieved the package. At 10:58 AM I received an email back stating "I was able to locate the order on my end, and after reviewing the status, it shows that the order has already been fulfilled. Because of this, it can no longer be canceled. I did attempt to cancel it, but our system wouldn't allow it. I hope for your understanding, you may chat with us at *insert website* we are available Mon-Fri 8am to 9pm". I went to the website to chat live so I could get this resolved (these are not cheap, I purchase multiple, and I would not be able to retrieve it from the wrong address) where I was met kindly but simply informed that I need to reach out to the carrier. I checked the fedex tracking again and they still had not received the package, so I asked that the issue be escalated because it was still in their possession, the agent told me "I cannot escalate this order because it has been fulfilled. please reach out to fedex to change the delivery address". Well, I went to fedex to try to change the address, but because I had opted for standard shipping, fedex informed me that service cannot be altered. I tried to reach out through the web chat again to see if they could assist me at all, and I was told "please check with us when the order is delived so we can help you in checking our available options". I asked they could pretend it was delivered, and simply inform me of the options, they said they would have to talk to a lead, I asked them to do that, they said they would and get back to me via email (convo ends at 11:53AM). At 11AM the day following I receive a follow-up telling me there is nothing to be done, I can try to contact the carrier to divert that package again (I tried, they wouldn't/couldn't). So, at this point I am out the money AND the product, and now know to double check the delivery address because Lasko product support cannot do anything to assist you if you are not talking to a human within 2 hours of ordering your product."
