GermGuardian® FLT4100 HEPA GENUINE Replacement Filter E is a combination filter. Genuine GermGuardian high efficiency HEPA air filters capture 99.97% of dust, allergens, and wildfire smoke particles down to 0.1 microns from the air. Our genuine filters effectively trap pollen, harmful bacteria, and pet dander from the air. The activated carbon pre-filter traps dust, pet hair, and other large particles, while extending the life of the HEPA filter. Treated carbon absorbs volatile organic compounds from the air and reduces odors from smoking, cooking and pets. Use with GermGuardian air purifier models AC4100, AC4175W or AC4150P, AC4150BL..

Does the Black side go inside the machine with the white filter showing on the outside

If my purifier runs 24/7 how often must I change the filter?
Hi, Thank you for reaching us. We hope you are doing great! To maintain the performance of the air cleaner, it is recommended that the filter be replaced every 6 months. Depending on usage and environmental conditions.

You can use a vacuum attachment to vacuum them off.
