This 100-hour ultrasonic large capacity cool mist humidifier from PureGuardian guards against problems caused by dry air in the home, making life pleasant for those with cold, flu, allergies and dry skin. Thanks to ultrasonic technology; it is ultra-quiet when it runs, and immediately begins to disperse a fine, soothing cool mist when turned on. This 100-hour humidifier is easy-to-use and has a variable control knob that can adjust the mist level exactly to your preference. A multi-directional nozzle broadens the output of mist to help increase coverage. The large capacity 1.5 gallon water tank can be removed for quick refills and easy cleaning. The tank is mold and mildew resistant, thanks to silver clean protection, a fungi static agent that protects and prevents fungal and mold growth on the surface of the water tank. For added safety, an auto-shut off feature turns the humidifier off if the water level is too low. There are no maintenance costs; no expensive filters, pads, or wicks need to be cleaned or replaced. A soft glow night light can be turned on or off depending on preference. Important care tip: it is recommended that distilled or filtered water be used to prevent mineral build up in the humidifier. If water with a high concentration of minerals is used, a demineralization cartridge (model FLTDC20) is available to help prevent white dust and mineral deposits from being released into the air.
